FALL JURIED SHOW 2017

Fall Show 2017

Not even a "monsoon" type rain storm could put a damper on the Tuscarawas County Art Guild's Fall Art Exhibit at the Tuscarawas County Center for the Arts. The sixty-five plus guests strolled through the gallery , taking in the striking variety of artwork, which featured water color, oils, and acrylics along with photography and two and three dimensional pieces. The room was filled with music by pianist, Christ Rober. An array of Horsd'oeures  and homemade cookies were spread across the decorated table with wine and a variety of beverages.

The art display was judged by Don Getz, of Cuyahoga Valley Ohio.  Mr. Getz is a commercial artist, and instrumental in the founding of the Ohio Water Color Society, and was granted signature membership in the prestigious American Water Color Society. The Fine Art Display will run through December 15th, open Monday through Saturday, (except Thanksgiving weekend), from 10:00 a.m.to 2:00 p.m., with free admission. There were eleven artists who received awards, with artist Ed Steffek of Port Washington winning "Best of Show".
