Terry Barnhill

As a photographic artist,  I am continually trying to create images that show the viewer my unique vision of the world around us!  Images that not only speak to me but the viewing audience also. Every image has a story that I endeavor to tell!

We live in a beautiful world! Beauty is everywhere but because of the speed of life today many people go through the day seeing nothing.

It is from this idea that I draw my main working concept. Henry David Thoreau said, "It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see!" This quote is the heart of almost all of my personal photographic projects!

I currently create images for home and office decor. I am always working on a variety of different personal projects. I do commission work

for individuals and businesses! Also, I am involved with consulting on a wide range of photographic topics as well as individual photographic instruction.

Besides my photography, I teach a variety of classes and workshops at the Tuscarawas County Center for the Arts. I also offer instruction through the local New Philadelphia and Dover Libraries. My photographic time is rounded out with judging and speaking to civic groups.
