The Tuscarawas County Art Guild is represented by Tuscarawas County artists in a wide variety of visual art forms including ceramics, drawing, fiber, jewelry, painting, printing, sculpture, collage, stained glass, photography, watercolor, textile art, wood, and more. They exhibit their work in local shows, businesses and competitions.

The Tuscarawas County Art Guild is a non-profit organization of people interested in the advancement of the fine arts.  The membership consists of professional and amateur artists expressing themselves through a wide variety of media.  The Guild strives to promote public appreciation for the support of its endeavors through community involvement.  The Guild is supported by annual dues, commissions on sales from Art Guild shows, and outside contributions.  For the past ten years, the Guild has made scholarship fund donations to local High Schools for graduating seniors that are continuing their studies in Visual Arts.




When someone joins the Tuscarawas County Art Guild, they become part of the decision making process, and a promoter of our Mission Statement which is as follows:

To promote active participation in the arts by area residents.

To encourage the public to appreciate original, creative art.

To educate the members and the public to better art.

To maintain an influence in cultural affairs.

To embrace all art forms.

2021 Art Scholarship

The Tuscarawas County Art Guild will be awarding one Art Scholarship this spring, in the amount of $1,000 to high school seniors who are planning to enter college or university majoring in art related fields in the fall of 2021.

Applications, including all three references and a current photograph must be postmarked by April 15, 2021 to be considered. However, digital photos of 3 original works of art must be emailed by April 22, 2021. Instructions to apply are also in the scholarship application. The Executive Board will review the applications and 3 original works of art from each applicant to select the art scholarship recipient.
