From Kindergarten on up, I always had a pencil or crayon in my hand when there was spare time available for drawing, coloring etc. During my high school years, I took private oil painting lessons. After graduation, I attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, where I studied Commercial Art.
Over many years, I have enjoyed freelancing, doing a variety of commissioned and custom projects, with acrylics being my medium of choice. Focusing primarily on landscapes over the years, I decided to address the contemporary scene with sampler style paintings, featuring geometric blocks of color, texture and script.
I have been praised for my attention to detail, use of light and depth in my artwork. Some of my clients have requested paintings of their homes. A number of my creations have traveled as far away as Canada, Australia, California, and various states along the East Coast.
Long time membership and secretarial duties in the Tuscarawas County Art Guild has provided me with a venue in which to share my talents, learn new painting techniques, meet interesting people, and enjoy the comradery the organization provides. Contact the Artist
